Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support


Medical professionals who respond to cardiovascular cardiovascular emergencies as part of a team in or outside facility can attend this course to enhance their treatment knowledge and skills with this AHA ACLS training course. This certification course highlight the importance of effective team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. Additionally, airway management and pharmacology is covered in this course.

The AHA ACLS course is updated with the 2020 CPR & ECC Guidelines . The updated course now requires a precourse self-assessment that must be passed before attending the course and certification must be presented at the beginning of class. This course is also offered in a blended format.

Class covers:

  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
  • Airway Management
  • ACLS Pharmacology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) review
  • Management of acute coronary syndromes and stroke
  • How to be both a leader and a team member in a resuscitation team

All students are required to have a current AHA ACLS Provider student manual (workbook) during the class day. IF a student arrives at class without a student manual, they will be required to purchase one for the course or will be rescheduled to a later course. Email for scheduling.
