With everything going on, it is important to send positive thoughts to our healthcare workers, delivery drivers, community worker including grocery store workers and the environmental safety staff. They are working above the call of duty to help fight the COVID-19 and providing services that make our daily living possible.
It was brought to my attention, some facilities are still requiring CPR certifications to continue to work and to assist in high need locations. I am still hosting CPR courses, including Advanced Cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) for those that need to be certified to continue to work during this pandemic.
Lastly, be mindful of your diet and exercise routines. Take this time to build on a program to improve your vascular health. The COVID-19 has been thought to impact those with preexisting conditions that consist of high blood pressure, diabetes, and autoimmune disease. This is a good time to think about ways to become more healthy and join the American Heart Association to #MoveMore and be #RelentlessTogether.
